"I like this illustration in a special way. It's the first one accepted by the British magazine Interzone. The editor, David Pringle, loved so much the picture that he decided to put it immediately on the cover of the issue n. 99, September 1995 . This issue was then printed in advance and displayed during the WorldCon of Glasgow in England(25-28 August 1995). In that occasion Interzone won its first Hugo Award."

"This is the cover of the issue n.102 of the Interzone magazine, December 1995.
Today computergraphic arts allow to imitate all the conventional tools and techniques commonly used in traditional painting. All these artworks have been realized with a drawing tablet on Apple PowerMac platforms".
